Finnalby's Finest Market Program:

The Finnalby Finest Program is Finnalby's way of acknowledging markets that deliver exceptional customer service to Finnalby Resellers and Buyers, including swift responses to messages, timely shipping with tracking, and positive average review ratings. We ascertain your Finnalby Finest status on the first of each month by evaluating the previous month of your market’s performance, commencing 120 days post your initial sale on Finnalby.

Monthly criteria for Finnalby Finest Program qualification:


  1. Receive at least one reorder from active resellers or buyers during the qualification month.

  2. Receive at least one new review from an active reseller or buyer purchase during the qualification month.

  3. Fulfill 90% of your orders, shipped within 3 days of your lead time.

  4. No unshipped backordered or discontinued items.

  5. No cancellations within your control.

  6. Earn at least 60 points towards your Market Merchandising Score.

  7. Maintain an average rating of 4.8 stars or higher.

  8. Respond Rate of 90% of all new Finnalby Chat messages with 24 hours of receipt.


Market Merchandising Score:

To meet this criterion, you must earn at least 60 points. Points are calculated based on the actions below, but you don't need to take all actions to earn 60 points:


  • [20 points] Run at least 1 product-specific or shop-wide promotion during the qualification month (custom promo codes don't qualify).

  • [10 points] Add an average of 4 videos and/or images per product listing.

  • [10 points] Have an average of 300 characters per product description.

  • [5 points] Add a new, published, and in-stock product to your market.

  • [5 points] Meet your category's threshold for the number of active products (visible on your Market Admin page).

  • [5 points] Change your header on your market page.

  • [5 points] Change your narrative on your market shop's about page.

  • [1 point] Log in to your Market Admin per day for the qualifying month.

Success Tips:


  1. Correspondence Tip: To respond quickly to Inquiries try to set aside some time each day for answering these queries, ideally within 24 hours. Customers appreciate prompt responses to their queries about your products.  


  1. More help with Correspondence: Download the Finnalby App for your Android or iOS device. This way, you can respond to messages promptly, even on the go. While personalizing your messages is crucial, using saved replies in the notes section can save you time, providing frequently used responses at your disposal.


  1. Help Your Reviews: Define your Returns and Exchanges Policy in your market.  Although market policies don’t directly influence Finnalby Finest eligibility, they can help garner positive reviews by setting clear expectations with buyers. Outline clear guidelines in your shop policies regarding acceptance of returns and/or exchanges. If a buyer contacts you for a return or exchange, work out the details like return address (usually yours), the time frame for receiving it, and who bears the return shipping cost (if not mentioned in your shop policies).

  • On the first day of the month, we will check if you've met each of the above criteria from the previous month and calculate your Market Merchandise Score to determine Finnalby's Finest for each category.
